This exciting role is part of a our IT team in a large multi-national company. The role offers a broad variety of responsibilities including great learning opportunities.

Brief primary function of your role:

• Partner closely with business and IT leaders to deliver Eaton's Next Generation Master Data Managment (MD) design architecture
• Assess vendors and collaborate with broader architecture team to ensure solutions align with global IT/business strategy.
• Coach, advise and guide business and IT teams on best practices in deploying MDM technologies to drive producitivty, growth and efficiency.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business process/requirements and convert those into user stories enabling a high level functional design.
• Facilitate assessment and maintenance of business capabilites for maturity, priority and overall risk.
• Play significant role on technology evaluation needed for MDM next gen tools.
• Lead the design activities for multiple Integration technologies(Informatica, Workato, APIGEE, Kafka etc..)
• Lead the design activities for next gen data platform and contribute on legacy data platform migration activities for MDM domains.
• Converting business needs and outcomes into solution requirements with an ability to articulate total cost of ownership (TCO)

Job Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of Saas models, business process improvement/ re-engineering principles--lean six sigma, customer journey mapping and Agile principles.
• Collaborating with onshore and offshore business and technical teams to create solutions for complex internal business operations.
• Ensuring architecture principles and standards are consistent with all deliverables.
• Driving quality assurance of all the architecture or decisions and provide technical mitigation support to the delivery.
• Partnering closely with business teams and enterprise architects to define strategies for technical solutions, determine requirements, and develop high-level designs.
• Translateing complex functional, technical, and business requirements into easy to understand user stories , high level architectural designs including the technology strategy and roadmap(s) of Future state architecture.
• Track delivery milestones, dependencies, and deliverables for the workstream.
• Drive change management and business, technology, and operational readiness plans.
• Participate in the Architecture Guild Community of Practice to educate, and guide on principles, standards and patterns.

Skills:

• Graduate Degree in Comp Science / Mathematics / Engineering / Equivalent.
• Min 10 years of Implementation experience in MDM (Preferably STIBO or informatica) and delivering solutions on Master Data Management, Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Modeling, Master Data Frameworks and metadata.
• Strong experience in working with Product, Customer, and Supplier master data domains.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Strong Programming skills (Java, Python).
• Rest API & Json knowledge.
• Good understanding and hands on experience on Integration technologies(Informatica, Workato, Kafka).
• Good understanding and hands on experience on data platforms.
• Good understanding of API-First architecture.
• Experience working on enterprise data projects (data warehouses/master data management, others) with hands-on data analysis, and profiling skills using SQL.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps processes.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and drive for results.
• Must be able to deal with ambiguity and adapt to changing business needs.
• Good team player, self-motivating, and committed with an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently and have knowledge of all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle.
