The Engineer will be responsible for planning and executing testing, evaluating test results, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing engineering support to technicians and customers. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced laboratory environment and can effectively balance multiple projects, priorities, and customer requirements.

Salary: $70,000 - $99,000/yr DOE

Responsibilities

Lead routine technical problem-solving activities and seek guidance when faced with complex or non-routine issues.
  • Develop testing capabilities: Support the development, modification, and implementation of test methods, procedures, fixtures, equipment, and laboratory capabilities. Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new testing technologies and concepts.
  • Provide technical and customer support: Serve as a technical resource for customers and internal teams by addressing test requirements, technical questions, test status, results, and issues. Participate in customer meetings, technical reviews, and presentations as required.

  • Provide technical leadership: Assist with the training and professional development of technicians and less experienced engineers. Provide technical guidance and support to laboratory personnel and contribute to a collaborative engineering environment.
  • Maintain safety, quality, and compliance: Perform all work in accordance with company policies, laboratory safety requirements, quality procedures, and applicable standards while maintaining accurate technical and project documentation.
