Position Overview

We are seeking a production-focused Underwriter to drive growth within our Professional Liability practice, specializing in trustee and fiduciary liability coverage. This role sits at the intersection of underwriting and deal execution-owning the process from submission through bind by working closely with wholesale and retail partners, our MGA platform, and internal sales teams to win business.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite, structure, and drive new business and renewal opportunities to close within trustee/fiduciary liability
• Manage submissions through the full lifecycle: intake, analysis, quoting, negotiation, and binding
• Partner with wholesale and retail brokers to negotiate terms, remove friction, and accelerate deal flow
• Provide clear, actionable guidance on coverage structure, pricing strategy, and market positioning
• Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale and retail partners to scale the business

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of underwriting experience in professional or private D&O liability, with exposure to trustee, fiduciary, or similar specialty lines
• Experience in a production underwriting, MGA, or wholesale-driven environment
• Demonstrated ability to move deals from submission to bind in a fast-paced setting
• Strong understanding of policy forms, coverage nuances, and pricing strategies
• Commercial mindset with strong negotiation and relationship management skills
