We are looking for a Mathematics Teacher for an international school in Chengdu. This position is available from July 2027 for the 2027-28 academic year

About the School

Located in a modern, high-tech district of southwest Chengdu, this spacious and well-equipped campus offers both international and bilingual curricula, serving students from Pre-K through Grade 11, with plans to expand to Grade 12. The area is known for its green spaces, easy access to the airport, and proximity to Chengdu’s rich cultural and culinary heritage, providing a vibrant and dynamic environment for both students and staff.

Job Responsibilities

Teach mathematics to high school students using the AP curriculum, developing mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills
Prepare lessons, learning materials and assessments, provide tutoring and write student reports
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the curriculum
Monitor progress and set targets that help students improve
Provide constructive feedback to students and parents
Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related subject
At least two years of experience as a lead classroom teacher
Strong communication skills
Experience working in a bilingual setting preferred
