Physical Education PE Teacher

We are looking for a Physical Education PE Teacher for a Bilingual School based in Shanghai. This position is available from the upcoming 2026/27 academic year in August 2026.

About the school

Situated in the bustling metropolitan of Shanghai, China, this bilingual school resides in the Pudong district and is spread across a terrain of 35,000 m2. It comprises of a kindergarten, primary, middle and high school divisions. The school offers courses that are based on the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Advanced Placement (AP) programs with the English language being the medium of instruction.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of PE to primary school students ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Design, prepare and deliver high quality lessons to suit the individual needs of all students
• Co-teach with teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor student progress and provide targets so that all learners can see success and improve
• Collaborate with other teachers to share new ideas, approaches and professional knowledge
• Contribute to extra-curricular activities program and participate in school activities such as assemblies, festivals, conferences

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above
• More than two years related working experience
• Hold a teaching certificate
• IB or AP curriculum experience
