Science Teacher

We are looking for a General Science Teacher for an International School based in Shanghai. This position is available from the upcoming 2026/27 academic year in August 2026.

Job responsibilities

• Teach secondary students Cambridge Integrated Science, covering general science topics including biology, chemistry, and physics.
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher status with 3-5 years of teaching experience
• Ability to teach one or two science subjects
• Knowledge of world-class science curriculums, including UK and International, and their assessment methods
• Proficiency in addressing individual needs through differentiated instruction and diverse learning strategies
