eCamp After School Teacher

This is an application for an eCamp Teaching position at our central Matthews campus. The eCamp staff are all followers of Jesus who take their representation of Jesus and of the church seriously, both at work and at home. RESPONSIBLITIES

• Create a safe, engaging, and fun environment for children in your care
• Facilitate and implement programming provided by the Curriculum Director
• Lead and actively participate in all scheduled activities with children in your care
• Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating respect, teamwork, and encouraging confidence and healthy social skills
• Monitor campers for health or safety concerns and administer basic first aid as needed
• Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure camper accountability
• Communicate clearly and effectively with fellow counselors, camp directors, and support staff
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom and activity environment

HOURS

• Part-time position for the 2026-2027 school year
• Monday-Thursday, 2:30PM - 5:30PM.
• Team member hours may vary based on program needs

Must-Haves

• Active participation in a church (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community)
• Passion for children and families
• Ability to make sound, critical decisions under pressure
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Great attention to detail and time-management skills

Nice-To-Haves:

• Experience working at a Summer Camp or Childcare Facility
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Familiarity with Elevation Church
