Cloud Engineer - Infrastructure as Code

Summary

The Cloud Engineer role is primarily focused on delivering successful cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and focusing on Infrastructure as Code, serving as a trusted advisor to clients and ensuring seamless migration and deployment of applications.

Main Responsibilities:

Core duties include partnering with clients to manage cloud solution implementations and proposing GCP architectures.

• Partner with customers to manage and deliver cloud solution implementations.

• Propose and deploy GCP solution architectures, emphasizing Python automation.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and manage secure applications on GCP.

• Develop migration strategies for legacy applications to scalable architectures on GKE.

• Guide customers in utilizing container technologies and writing automation scripts.

• Manage project timelines, scope, and deliverables with stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code, Cloud Networking, and Virtual Machine Migration.

• Solid practical experience in software development and debugging with Python.

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (GKE).

• Understanding of Cloud Networking principles, including VPCs and network security.

• Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles.

• Track record in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and using Terraform.

Other Details:

• Location: Riyadh - Hybrid Role.

• Contract duration is 12 months, extendable.

• Required tools and methodologies include GCP, Infrastructure as Code, Python, Terraform, Kubernetes.
