Are you an experienced Planning Lead with expertise on large-scale ERP transformation programs?
emagine has an opportunity for you to drive the integrated planning of a global SAP S/4HANA transformation with a global team.
This role sits inside the core PMO of a large-scale, multi-year ERP transformation built on SAP S/4HANA PCE, integrated with multiple satellite systems.
Main Responsibilities
The role spans end-to-end planning governance across a hybrid Agile/Waterfall program:
- Maintain a reliable, integrated master plan through go-live of the first-out countries
- Ensure the plan reflects real constraints: resource availability, review cycles, training timelines and business blackout periods
- Synchronize the master plan with workstream plans and backlogs, reconciling MS-Project and Excel milestone sources into one coherent view
- Maintain and actively monitor the critical path, flagging cross-stream conflicts and unrealistic overlaps
- Scrutinize every re-baselining proposal, assessing impact on critical path and commitments, and escalating risk
- Guard against silent slippage, hidden buffers and over-optimistic sequencing
- Cross-check the system integrator's plan and status claims against what teams see on the ground, and push back on unrealistic or inconsistent reporting
- Consolidate planning status by stream, verify RAG consistency, and deliver a reliable plan-on-a-page for steering committee governance
- Provide structured planning input on trends, schedule risks and capacity tensions to program leadership
Key Requirements
- 7+ years in project planning, scheduling or PMO on large transformation programs, with experience running the planning of global SAP deployments (core-template build, test, deployment, dual run with legacy)
- Strong MS-Project expertise: milestone management, dependency management, baselining, effort planning and consolidation of multiple MS-Project and Excel milestone plans
- Working knowledge of Jira (backlogs, sprints) with the ability to connect Agile progress to the integrated plan
- Comfortable operating in a hybrid delivery environment combining Agile sprints and Waterfall phases
- Able to constructively challenge and hold a system integrator to account while maintaining an effective working relationship
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to present complex plans and status clearly and in a structured way
- Structured, rigorous, reliable and solution-oriented working style
Why This Role
You work at the center of a major transformation, with visibility across every workstream and direct exposure to program leadership and steering committee governance. Your assessment of the plan carries real weight in decisions that shape go-live.
Other Details
The role is within a core PMO team, reporting to the Head of PMO. The program combines Agile and Waterfall delivery modes and runs through go-live of the first three countries in February 2027. The team is based in Brussels and you must be available for regular on-site meetings and potential travel to other European sites.
