What we're looking for

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer with a strong foundation in HTML and CSS. Proficiency in React and TypeScript will be considered a significant advantage. The ideal candidate should have experience in building and publishing reusable component libraries, such as Storybook, and should be comfortable working from designs and guidelines with minimal supervision.

Additionally, a background in design with proficiency in Sketch for UI/UX design is essential, along with a genuine passion for aesthetics. The candidate should be able to produce polished showcase materials, including demo videos, posters, and Keynote presentations. Video editing skills will be viewed favorably.

Example of work tasks:

• Implement styling changes and UI restructuring across internal web applications, primarily focused on cosmetic updates with minimal impact on functionality.

• Build reusable UI components and maintain a shared component library (Storybook) used across multiple products.

• Enhance existing applications for a more polished and native feel during demos and presentations.

• Port and adapt existing web applications using established tooling, identifying integration blockers for the team.

• Create mockups for new macOS and web applications based on defined problem statements.

Key Requirements:

• Solid understanding of HTML and CSS

• Experience with React and TypeScript

• Proficient in building reusable component libraries (e.g., Storybook)

• Ability to work independently from design guidelines

• Proficiency in Sketch for UI/UX design

• Strong design aesthetic and capability to produce polished materials
