Full Stack Developer (Python+Angular)

Model of work: 100% remote (Candidates must be located in Poland)

Type of contract: B2B contract, long term cooperation

Rate: 160 PLN net + vat/ hour

Languages: Polish & English fluent

Primary goal of this role is to develop and enhance AI products that aid teachers and students in achieving better learning outcomes. As a Full Stack Developer, you will focus on backend services while also implementing features that improve the user interface, thereby ensuring a seamless integration between backend capabilities and frontend experience.

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver backend-oriented full stack features for AI Products from implementation through testing, review, and release readiness.

• Design, implement, and maintain API endpoints and backend services using Python/FastAPI.

• Work with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases, including data modelling for assigned features, database changes, and migrations.

• Integrate the application with external systems and internal services where needed.

• Use queues and asynchronous processing patterns for features that need background or delayed processing.

• Build Angular frontend features within existing application patterns, especially for screens that support backend capabilities.

• Contribute to AI-powered product features by integrating AI APIs or services, with support from senior engineers for AI-specific design decisions.

• Participate actively in code reviews and help maintain clean, maintainable, observable code.

• Improve reliability, logging, monitoring, and performance in the areas you work on.

• Collaborate with Product and Design to clarify requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Ability to independently deliver well-scoped backend-oriented full stack features in an existing product team.

• Hands-on experience with Python backend development, preferably with FastAPI or a comparable API framework.

• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs or similar service interfaces.

• Experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL or comparable systems, and database migrations.

• Experience with automated testing and a pragmatic approach to test coverage.

• Experience working with code reviews, Git-based workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Working knowledge of queues, asynchronous processing, or event-driven backend patterns.

• Ability to independently build Angular features within established frontend patterns.

• Awareness of observability practices, including logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting production-like issues.

• Performance awareness for backend services, database queries, and user-facing application flows.

• Ability to help shape technical solutions for assigned areas while seeking guidance for architecture and AI-specific decisions.

• Comfort collaborating with Product, Design, and other engineers to clarify requirements and deliver useful product features.

Nice to Have:

• Experience integrating AI APIs or AI-powered features into software products.

• Interest in learning how AI features are built, integrated, tested, and made reliable in production applications.

• Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration.

• Security and privacy awareness, especially when working with user data and external integrations.

• Accessibility awareness for frontend features.

• Experience with cloud deployment or operating services in cloud environments.
