Introduction & Summary

We are seeking a Security Governance & Platform Security Lead to develop and maintain a robust security governance structure within Platform Services. The ideal candidate will possess proven expertise in IT Security, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, and Security Governance, alongside strong knowledge of cloud technologies including AWS, Microsoft Azure, VMware, and Kubernetes. This role entails translating global security policies into actionable local processes, ensuring compliance, and fostering a security-first culture.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a local security governance structure within Platform Services.

• Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Global IT Security, facilitating communication, coordination, and alignment on security initiatives and requirements.

• Translate global security policies, standards, and controls into actionable processes and technical implementations within local infrastructure and platform environments.

• Drive the operationalization of security requirements across AWS, Azure, VMware, and Kubernetes platforms.

• Ensure consistency and compliance between global security standards and local infrastructure practices.

• Monitor adherence to security policies, controls, and regulatory requirements within platform and infrastructure environments.

• Provide security guidance and advisory support to local platform and infrastructure teams on architecture, design, implementation, and operational matters.

• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify, assess, and mitigate infrastructure and cloud security risks.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the security posture of platform services.

• Act as a trusted advisor, promoting security best practices and fostering a security-first culture across technical teams.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in IT Security, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, or Security Governance.

• Strong knowledge of cloud and platform technologies, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, VMware, and Kubernetes.

• Experience translating security policies and governance requirements into technical and operational controls.

• Understanding of security frameworks, standards, and risk management principles.

• Experience working within complex, global organizations and collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.

• Ability to balance governance requirements with operational and business needs.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach to security challenges.
