Senior Azure Integration Developer

We're looking for a Senior Azure Integration Developer to join a global engineering team delivering modern integration solutions within a large-scale financial services environment.

In this role, you'll work on enterprise-grade integrations connecting business-critical platforms through Azure technologies. You'll collaborate closely with Solution Architects, influence technical decisions, and help shape scalable, secure integration patterns used across the organisation.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Azure Integration Developer, you'll take ownership of designing and building secure, scalable integrations between enterprise applications and cloud platforms.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing end-to-end API and integration solutions using modern Azure services.

• Developing cloud-native applications with Azure Functions, API Management (APIM) and Azure Service Bus.

• Building secure communication between enterprise platforms, backend systems and user-facing applications.

• Developing, optimizing and maintaining Python-based services while contributing across Java or .NET components where needed.

• Creating scalable microservice integration patterns for enterprise environments.

• Writing clean, maintainable code supported by comprehensive unit testing.

• Monitoring application performance, troubleshooting production issues and improving reliability using Azure Application Insights.

• Participating in architecture discussions, design reviews and technical planning.

• Supporting future cloud transformation initiatives, including potential integration with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who combines strong software engineering skills with a solid understanding of enterprise integrations.

You'll ideally bring:

• 7+ years of commercial experience developing solutions on Microsoft Azure.

• Strong expertise with Azure Functions, API Management (APIM), Azure Service Bus and Application Insights.

• Excellent programming skills in Python, alongside commercial experience with Java or .NET.

• Experience designing and building REST APIs and cloud integration solutions.

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Extensive experience writing unit tests and delivering production-quality software.

• Experience integrating enterprise applications or CRM platforms.

• The ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Exposure to cloud migration or modernisation projects.

• Experience integrating enterprise SaaS platforms within large organisations.
