Senior Security Engineer - Microsoft Defender Suite & Sentinel

Summary

This role involves a Senior Security Engineer specializing in Microsoft Defender and Sentinel, tasked with building and maintaining security systems across client environments, while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure robust security operations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support solutions with SIEM (preferably Sentinel) and Microsoft security technologies.

• Implement & administer Microsoft Defender, Azure Cloud Access Security Broker, and Azure Threat Protection security products.

• Manage and oversee day-to-day activities of Azure IP platform, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.

• Assess customer needs, design, and implement tailored security solutions.

• Act as primary responder for managed security systems, addressing client configuration issues.

Key Requirements:

• College degree or equivalent training.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience for Security Engineer or 7-8 years for Senior Security Engineer.

• Proficiency in Splunk, Azure M365, and Microsoft cloud security.

• Experience managing Splunk and Sentinel SIEM, including content development.

• Knowledge of integration with tools and data connectors for Microsoft Sentinel.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in information security areas such as EDR.

• Exposure to various other SIEM products like ArcSight or LogRhythm.

• Experience with MS Azure Information Protection technologies.

• Knowledge of Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
