Solution Architect (Payments)

emagine is looking for a Solution Architect within the Payments area to one of our amazing banking clients.

Location: Stockholm (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Description

• 10+ years' experience as a Solution Architect in Financial Services, ideally in payments or cash management within Investment Banking.
• Strong and demonstrable knowledge and experience architecting solutions for a diversity of payments offerings across currencies, jurisdictions, rulebooks, schemas.
• Motivated to work on payments flows end to end from definition of the offering in the frontend, through the services and api layer, to the backend processing and clearing, working with architects and tech leads responsible for components to create the end to end solution.
• Strong and demonstrable ability to facilitate or drive the definition and agreement of architectural deliverables such as target architectures, transition architectures, architectural roadmaps, architectural runways, end-to-end flows, etc.
• Strong and demonstrable ability to get involved at the detail level in solution design activities with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Channel Owners and Development Teams.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, OpenShift) and DevOps.
• Collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, able to present solution designs or decisions without all the technical details.
• Experienced in managing diverse stakeholders in large organizations and navigating ambiguity, you have experience in both traditional waterfall Project Management and Scaled Agile environments.
• Flexible and open to jump in where needed and help out across the team on topics relating to Payment Channels, Payments Processing Platform and Payments Reporting.
• Fluent in English.
