Summary:

The Sr. Software Engineer will be instrumental in developing an Automation framework aimed at System and Software validation for Infotainment and Cockpit Electronics Products within the Automotive sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Development and maintenance of the Infotainment system/SW testing framework.
  • Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions.
  • Write well-designed, testable code.
  • Produce specification documents and determine operational feasibility.
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
  • Conduct peer reviews.
  • Document and maintain software functionality.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
  • Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards.
  • Update software with the latest features.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Computer Science.
  • 4-8 years of experience in Automotive Application Development.
  • Experience with Automotive infotainment modules or Automotive background.
  • Proficient in Python 3.8.
  • Familiar with Ubuntu 20.4.
  • Experience with an Automation Framework, plugins, and module integration.
  • Understanding of hardware setups for System validation in Infotainment or Automotive features.
  • Working experience with Git, Gerrit, and GitLab.
  • Familiarity with ALM tools.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience working in a Scrum team using Agile methodology.
  • Exposure to Vector VT system/D-Space.
  • Knowledge of CAN, UDP/TCP protocols.
  • Experience with serial/Ethernet communication.
