Senior Fullstack Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join Data Platform. Our team is building a new platform service focused on improving data quality across their data applications and analytics platform. The team also owns the Event Sender SDK and is responsible for maintaining, and supporting the internal users who rely on it.
We are looking for a platform engineer specialized in JavaScript/TypeScript and backend development(Java), to help build services, APIs, SDKs, and internal tools that enable engineers to produce high-quality and reliable data at scale. As part of this team, you will closely collaborate with our internal customers (e.g. application developers, data consumers, analytics engineers, and platform teams) to understand their needs and deliver scalable solutions that improve the quality, reliability, and usability of their data ecosystem.
What you'll do
Work in a fast-paced environment to build services and internal tools that improve data quality across their data ecosystem
Collaborate with other engineers, data scientists, designers, user researchers and product managers to craft the best possible user experience for our internal tools and platform services
Partner closely with internal users to provide support, gather feedback, and continuously improve the developer experience
Ensure the developer experience is seamless for all engineers using our platform.
Who you are
You are experienced with modern JavaScript coding, testing, debugging, and automation techniques
You are proficient in some of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Java
You are passionate about building a great developer experience through robust APIs, SDKs, and platform services
You have a quality mindset and are interested in all parts of software development: coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence
You are comfortable around infrastructure and have some Java coding experience
You care about the user experience and know how to build user-friendly web applications
You have experience with some of the following areas: GCP, Kubernetes, GRPC, protobuf, large-scale data pipelines, data quality, or analytics platforms
