We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer - Data Center Network to join a critical IT infrastructure environment supporting the German financial services sector.

You'll take technical ownership within the Data Center Network area, working with highly critical infrastructure where stability, security and reliability are essential.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and coordination for Network Engineers

  • Manage and troubleshoot Cisco ACI - APIC, EPG, Contracts

  • Work with Cisco Nexus - NX-OS, vPC

  • Act as Technical Lead during major incidents, including 24/7 on-call availability

  • Take responsibility for Change, Release, Incident and Problem Management

  • Support network planning, design, architecture and optimization

  • Implement and quality-check network configurations

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting in line with established ITIL-based processes

  • Maintain technical documentation and configuration records

  • Support preparations for the future introduction of Huawei CloudEngine

What we're looking for

  • CCNP or CCIE Data Center, or equivalent expertise

  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI and Nexus

  • Experience in technical leadership, coordination or mentoring

  • Solid Data Center networking background

  • ITIL knowledge is an advantage

  • Experience with Huawei DCN, or willingness to learn quickly

  • Fluent English; German is an advantage

  • Ansible/Python and CheckMK knowledge is a plus
