Solution Architect - IAM / IGA Transformation

We are looking for a senior Solution Architect to join a strategic, international IAM/IGA transformation programme within the insurance sector.

The programme is introducing a group-wide Business Role model, migrating existing SailPoint-based roles and gradually rolling out a new target environment based on One Identity (myAccess) and Nexis.

This is not an IAM operations role. You will work at the intersection of solution architecture, authorization models, identity governance, Business Role Management and enterprise integration, helping define how access should be structured and governed across a large international organisation.

What will you be working on?

You will define and validate the solution architecture for Business Role Management, covering data models, entitlement structures, governance mechanisms, workflows, integrations and operational processes.

A major part of the assignment will involve analysing the existing authorisation landscape and determining how current SailPoint-based Business Roles should be migrated into the new target model.

You will also design and validate Business Role processes implemented in Nexis and integrated with One Identity / myAccess and other enterprise systems.

The role covers the full transformation lifecycle - from architecture and solution design through dry-runs, integration testing, pilots and phased production rollout.

You will work closely with Business Analysts, Requirements Engineers, Test Managers, Security Architects, Solution Architects and other members of the core transformation team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing the target Business Role Management architecture.

• Defining entitlement models, data structures and integration requirements.

• Assessing existing roles, authorisation concepts and organisational structures.

• Supporting migration of existing SailPoint-based roles.

• Designing role lifecycle and approval workflows.

• Defining governance controls and supporting Segregation of Duties (SoD) requirements.

• Validating architecture during integration testing, pilots and rollout.

• Preparing solution design documentation and implementation concepts.

• Advising the programme on Business Role governance, migration strategy and the future operating model.

Nice to have

Experience with Nexis, insurance, banking or another regulated industry will be particularly valuable, as will knowledge of Segregation of Duties, Microsoft Active Directory, SAP, Azure DevOps or Power BI in an IAM/IGA environment.
