Machine Operator

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Operate Manual machining equipment including Lathes and Vertical Boring Machines (VBR).
• Operate CNC Turning and Milling machines.
• Program and edit CNC programs using relevant programming systems.
• Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and work-holding equipment.
• Use precision measuring equipment to ensure components meet specification.
• Complete machining activities safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records and production documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production and customer requirements.
• Follow Emerson's quality, safety, and operational standards at all times.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Experience operating Manual and CNC machining equipment.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment and interpret machining requirements.
• Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and work-holding systems.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and proactive approach to work.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner, Machinist, or equivalent.
• CNC machining experience.
• Knowledge of Fanuc, Okuma, and Siemens programming systems.
• Current Dogging Licence.
• Experience within a manufacturing, machining, or industrial workshop environment.
