Technical Marketing and Business Management Intern

The Software Business Management team works across Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to turn these innovations into customer and business value.

As a Technical Marketing and Business Management Intern, you will help bring our software, data, and AI products to market. You will work on real projects involving market research, business analysis, product positioning, technical demonstrations, and go-to-market execution.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Partnering with internal teams to understand customer challenges and identify opportunities for NI’s hardware, software, and AI products.
• Helping bring AI products to market by supporting product positioning, demonstrations, launch content, and sales enablement.
• Researching markets, competitors, and industry trends to inform business and go-to-market decisions.
• Creating engaging technical materials such as demonstrations, presentations, videos, white papers, and web content.
• Translating complex technical capabilities into clear customer value.
• Analyzing customer, product, and business data to identify trends and recommend actions.
• Gaining hands-on experience with NI’s technology and contribute to projects that make a real impact on customers and the business.
• Depending on team needs and your interests, your summer project may prioritize any of the above responsibilities as a focus area

You communicate clearly, build strong working relationships, and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, considering different stakeholder perspectives, and taking ownership of your work.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• To be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
• The ability to move between technical conversations with engineers, strategic discussions with business stakeholders, and communicating complex ideas clearly in writing and in person
• Strong communication skills: Experience with technical writing, demonstrations, or presentations for different audiences.
• A passion for communicating complex technical concepts in a clear, engaging way.
• Legal Authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this role
