It grew through the acquisitions of Prudential's and MassMutual's retirement businesses and the Personal Capital wealth platform, and it now combines plan administration with personal wealth management aimed at converting plan participants into advised clients when they leave an employer. Headquartered in Greenwood Village, Colorado and owned by the Canadian insurer Great-West Lifeco, it is not itself listed.
