The Engineer Quality role involves ensuring the highest standards of product quality through rigorous testing and
analysis. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control systems, conducting
inspections, and identifying areas for improvement. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality
issues and ensure compliance with industry standards. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work
in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ability to quickly comprehends project goals/requirements, identify gap/omissions and testingchallenges/impediments
Expertise in scripting languages and logical implementations.
Exposure to Security & Performance testing is preferred.
Hands on experience in automation, frameworks and tools.
Ability to drive automation initiative.
Strong interpersonal skills, people management skills, with a proven ability to manage conflicts, increaseproductivity, hire and grow talent.
Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and tounderstand business requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
Must have 4 to 6 years of software testing experience
Must have a strong QA background in manual/ functional testing.
Should have good knowledge in SQL/Oracle queries. in preparing test plan and strategy documents
Ability to gather and understand requirements. Good experience in writing test cases and in requirement
gathering.
Good experience in Web services testing.
Understanding of formal software test design techniques
Demonstrated the ability to follow QA process and standards
Good experience in Functional Testing, End-to-End, Regression, and Smoke Testing tasks.
Develop and maintain test cases and report test results.
Create testing defect reports and track them to resolution in defect management tool.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong sense of self-motivation, organization and attention to detail; strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to quickly comprehend project goals/requirements, identify gap/omissions and testingchallenges/impediments
Establish collaborative relationships with other teams to ensure success of project test phases
Anticipate problems or issues that may arise, forecast high risk areas in software and drive resolution
Provide timely and meaningful test result updates to management
