We have a flexible work environment, and fluid career paths. We not only encourage but celebrate internal mobility. We also recognize the importance of purpose, well-being, and work-life balance. Chart your own path and grow your career while helping more customers achieve financial freedom. Empower Yourself.
As a Product Manager on our Wealth Products & Solutions team, you will help build and evolve Empower’s new native digital brokerage experience, creating an engaging investing destination that helps customers understand their investments, monitor their progress, and take action with confidence.
You will help shape experiences across the brokerage journey, from how customers understand their portfolio, positions, performance, balances, and activity to how they discover investment opportunities, trade, and engage with their investments over time. Your focus will be on turning complex brokerage information and capabilities into experiences that are intuitive, useful, and compelling for investors.
Importantly, Empower’s brokerage experience will serve customers across both our personal wealth and workplace retirement businesses. You will help evolve our native brokerage capabilities for retail investors while also supporting experiences such as Self-Directed Brokerage Accounts (SDBAs) offered through employer-sponsored retirement plans. You will consider how the needs, expectations, and journeys of these customers differ, and where a common brokerage platform and experience can better serve both.
You will join an ambitious product team building the next generation of investing experiences at Empower. You will bring strong customer focus, analytical thinking, product judgment, and a collaborative approach to working with design, engineering, research, business, operations, and other partners.
What You Will Do
Help build and continuously improve Empower’s native digital brokerage experience, with a focus on creating intuitive and engaging experiences that customers return to as they manage their investments.

Identify opportunities to increase brokerage adoption, engagement, and ongoing customer value, using customer behavior and feedback to understand where we can make the investing experience more useful.
Help evolve Empower’s brokerage capabilities to support multiple customer contexts, including direct-to-consumer brokerage and Self-Directed Brokerage Accounts within employer-sponsored retirement plans.
Partner closely with design to simplify complex financial information and create clear information architecture, navigation, interaction patterns, and visual presentation across brokerage experiences.
Use customer research, usability testing, behavioral data, experimentation, competitive research, and market insights to identify customer needs, friction points, and opportunities.
Translate customer, business, and technical needs into clear product requirements and priorities in partnership with engineering, design, research, operations, and other teams.
Contribute to product strategy and roadmap development by identifying opportunities and helping prioritize investments based on customer value, business impact, data, and feasibility.
Partner across Empower to connect brokerage experiences with customers' broader financial lives, including retirement, investing, financial planning, and other Empower experiences.
Define and track measures of success across adoption, engagement, usability, customer satisfaction, and digital behavior, using results to inform ongoing product optimization.
Use quantitative and qualitative insights, experimentation, and agile validation methods to test hypotheses and inform product decisions.
Navigate initiatives through the full product lifecycle, including discovery, requirements, prioritization, development, compliance and legal review, launch, measurement, and post-launch optimization.
