Chart your own path and grow your career while helping more customers achieve financial freedom. Empower Yourself.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will help shape the future of investing at Empower by leading the evolution of our digital brokerage experience.
This role sits at the intersection of brokerage, equity compensation, and Empower’s broader financial ecosystem. In the near term, you will lead efforts to create a more connected and intuitive experience across Empower Personal Dashboard, our Stock Plan Services capabilities, and Pershing’s NetX Investor services. At the same time, you will play a key role in advancing Empower’s native brokerage experience, creating a modern investing experience that is increasingly integrated into the broader Empower ecosystem.
Our ambition is to make Empower a financial home base where customers can understand their complete financial picture, manage their workplace equity and investments, and take action with confidence, all through a cohesive digital experience.
You will bring deep knowledge of digital brokerage and Stock Plan Services experiences, strong product judgment, customer obsession, analytical thinking, and cross-functional leadership. You should understand both the complexity behind brokerage and equity compensation and what customers increasingly expect from modern investing experiences.
You will partner closely with our equity compensation product lead, engineering, design, research, operations, compliance, business leaders, and external brokerage and technology partners to simplify that complexity and create experiences customers want to use.
What You Will Do
Refine the vision and roadmap for Empower’s digital brokerage experience, spanning Stock Plan Services, existing brokerage capabilities, and the evolution toward a more cohesive native Empower investing experience.
Collaborate and define the product strategy for connecting Empower’s Personal Dashboard, Stock Plan Services via OptionTrax platform, and Pershing’s NetX Investor experiences as well as progressing our emerging native brokerage capabilities into intuitive customer journeys.
Identify opportunities to eliminate fragmentation across platforms and create a more seamless experience for customers moving between workplace equity, brokerage accounts, and their broader financial lives.
Help shape and build Empower’s next-generation brokerage capabilities, applying customer expectations and best practices from leading digital investing platforms while creating an experience differentiated by Empower’s broader financial ecosystem.
Own critical end-to-end experiences for stock plan participants, including equity awards, holdings, transactions, account experiences, and the transition from workplace equity into broader investing and wealth-building journeys.
Translate complex brokerage, equity compensation, operational, regulatory, and technology requirements into experiences that feel simple and intuitive to customers.
Partner with engineering, design, research, operations, compliance, and business teams from discovery through launch and ongoing optimization.
Partner effectively with external brokerage, clearing, custody, stock plan, and technology providers while maintaining ownership of the end customer experience.
Develop a deep understanding of customer needs through qualitative research, usability testing, behavioral data, competitive research, and direct customer feedback.
Define and track measures of success across adoption, engagement, customer satisfaction, transaction behavior, asset retention and consolidation, and overall digital experience.
Use experimentation, analytics, rapid validation, and customer feedback to test hypotheses and continuously improve the product.
Navigate the full product lifecycle-from defining the problem and product strategy through requirements, prioritization, delivery, launch, measurement, and iteration.
Influence the longer-term investing strategy at Empower by identifying new capabilities and experiences that can make Empower a more valuable destination for customers' financial lives.
