The Senior Procurement Reporting Analyst(Senior Analyst, Labor Analytics & Workforce Data) will deliver data-driven insights and reporting across the company’s External Workforce to support strategic sourcing, workforce planning, financial management, and operational decision-making related to non-FTE labor. This role will perform advanced analytics, forecasting, modeling, and reporting; analyze external workforce spend, demand, utilization, and supplier performance; and translate complex workforce data into actionable insights. Working with Procurement, HR, Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders, the Senior Analyst will identify trends, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities while contributing to continuous improvement in reporting, data quality, and workforce analytics capabilities.

What you will do:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting on external workforce spend, utilization, trends, and supplier performance.

  • Build and enhance dashboards, recurring reports, and analytical tools that support workforce and business decision-making.

  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities requiring stakeholder attention.

  • Prepare executive-ready reporting and presentations that clearly communicate key findings and business implications.

  • Apply established metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards across external labor categories and recommend improvements to reporting methodologies, metrics, dashboards, and analytical processes.

  • Perform workforce demand forecasting, trend analysis, and capacity planning to support business and workforce planning.

  • Analyze workforce utilization, productivity, allocation, and demand across projects, departments, and business units.

  • Identify workforce gaps, inefficiencies, unusual trends, and optimization opportunities through quantitative analysis.

  • Develop scenarios and analytical models to help stakeholders evaluate workforce planning alternatives.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand workforce requirements and translate business questions into analytical solutions.

  • Apply established data standards, taxonomy, and governance requirements to external workforce reporting and analytics.

  • Monitor data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity across workforce-related systems, including VMS, HRIS, procurement, and financial systems.

  • Research and resolve data discrepancies in partnership with system owners and business stakeholders.

  • Recommend enhancements to data definitions, controls, processes, and reporting standards.

  • Support technology teams with data requirements, testing, reporting enhancements, and analytics-related system improvements.

  • Document reporting methodologies, business rules, data definitions, and analytical processes.

  • Analyze external workforce cost drivers, rate trends, supplier performance, spending patterns, rate cards, pricing structures, workforce mix, and spend controls.

  • Conduct benchmarking and comparative analyses to identify potential cost savings and efficiency opportunities.

  • Support sourcing and supplier strategies through data-backed analysis and recommendations.

  • Measure and report on the financial and operational impact of workforce initiatives.

  • Partner with Procurement, Finance, HR, Technology, and business teams to provide workforce data and analytical support.

  • Translate complex data and analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Prepare analyses and materials supporting business cases, leadership presentations, sourcing initiatives, and workforce planning activities.

  • Build productive working relationships across functions to understand business needs and improve the usefulness of workforce reporting.

  • Serve as a knowledge resource on external workforce data, reporting, and analytics, and provide analytical guidance and share best practices with less experienced team members as appropriate.

  • Support reporting and oversight related to external workforce governance and compliance requirements.

  • Monitor and report on non-FTE resources, including workforce populations with system or technology access.

  • Provide visibility into external workforce composition, including contractors, vendors, affiliated entities, regulators, and customer testers, as applicable.

  • Identify data quality or reporting issues that may create governance, financial, operational, or compliance risks.

  • Support adherence to organizational policies, data standards, controls, and applicable regulatory expectations.

  • Deliver accurate, timely, and actionable external workforce reporting and analysis that improves visibility into spend, demand, utilization, and supplier performance and supports workforce planning, sourcing, and cost-management decisions.

  • Identify meaningful trends, risks, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities while improving reporting efficiency, data quality, and consistency through continuous process improvement.

What you will bring:

  • 4-7 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, finance, workforce planning, procurement analytics, or a related discipline.

  • Experience working with external labor, contingent workforce, or related workforce data.

  • Demonstrated experience developing dashboards, analytical reporting, and data-driven insights.

  • Experience performing trend analysis, forecasting, financial analysis, or workforce modeling.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for business stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced proficiency with analytical and reporting tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar technologies.

  • Strong understanding of workforce metrics, spend analysis, financial concepts, and data visualization.

  • Ability to evaluate multiple data points and variables to identify trends, root causes, and potential solutions.

  • Ability to independently manage complex analytical assignments within established objectives and guidelines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information to non-technical audiences.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

  • Ability to work effectively across functions and manage multiple priorities.

What will set you apart:

  • Experience in retirement services, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.

  • Familiarity with Vendor Management Systems (VMS), Managed Service Provider (MSP) models, HRIS, procurement systems, and financial systems.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience working with large, complex workforce or financial datasets.

Base Salary Range

$87,400.00 - $123,400.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
