Role Overview

Enara Bio is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Clinical Project Manager (CPM) to lead the operational execution of clinical trials within our growing pipeline, beginning with our first-in-human ENA101 study. Reporting to the Head of Clinical Operations, the CPM will translate clinical operations strategy into detailed study plans and drive day-to-day delivery, working closely with CROs, vendors, and cross-functional partners to ensure studies are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and compliance standards.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on project manager with clinical trial delivery experience, comfortable operating in a fast-paced biotech environment.

Location: Enara is based in Oxford, UK, and offers a flexible option for hybrid work for this position. Candidates must be able to work effectively within business hours that overlap with both UK and US East Coast teams.

Level: Manager / Senior Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day operational execution of assigned clinical trial(s), from start-up through close-out.

  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, risk logs, and issue trackers.

  • Act as the primary operational point of contact for CROs and clinical vendors.

  • Monitor and report on study milestones, enrolment, and data quality/performance metrics.

  • Oversee CRO and vendor performance against contracted scope, budget, and KPIs; manage change orders.

  • Coordinate cross-functional input from Regulatory, Biometrics, Safety, CMC, and QA to keep studies on track.

  • Support site selection, feasibility assessment, and site activation/start-up activities.

  • Manage study budgets, forecasts, and vendor invoicing/reconciliation.

  • Ensure trial conduct complies with the protocol, ICH-GCP, and company SOPs.

  • Oversee Trial Master File completeness and support inspection readiness.

  • Escalate risks and issues to the Head of Clinical Operations with clear mitigation options.

  • Limited domestic/international travel as required to support site and vendor oversight.

Qualifications and experience required

  • 5+ years' experience in clinical operations/project management within biotech, pharma, or a CRO.

  • Experience managing global or multi-region clinical trials; early-phase oncology experience preferred.

  • Working knowledge of ICH-GCP and applicable regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, MHRA).

  • Demonstrated experience overseeing CRO and vendor performance and budgets.

  • Strong organisational, budget management, and risk management skills, with close attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced biotech setting.

  • Project management certification (e.g. PMP) is a plus.
