  • Monitor accounting classifications, cost coding, accruals, provisions, revenue recognition and other key accounting judgements to ensure compliance with Group policy and applicable standards.
  • Lead preparation and coordination of statutory financial statements, external audits and regulatory filings for the geography, working with Group Finance and external advisers as required.
  • Coordinate tax compliance and tax accounting requirements, including forecasting tax liabilities and supporting corporate, indirect, payroll and other local tax matters with specialist advisers and Group Tax.
  • Manage the finance control environment, including control testing, remediation, policy compliance and delivery of training where required.
  • Act as an escalation and approval point for core finance activities, including FX revaluation, non-PO invoices, credit notes, vendor reconciliations, account clearing and payments, in accordance with authority levels and segregation-of-duties requirements.
  • Partner with Treasury and the business on cash management, customer collections, vendor payment planning, liquidity forecasting and working-capital improvement.

Experience Requirements

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
  • Substantial post-qualification experience in financial control, reporting or a comparable senior finance role, ideally within a multi-entity or international organisation.
