Job Purpose

Precision Power Solutions (PPS) is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment for specialized engineering, technical, manufacturing, operations, and leadership positions across the organization. This individual will serve as a strategic talent acquisition partner, helping business leaders identify, attract, and hire the talent needed to support continued growth across our aerospace, defense, medical, and advanced energy markets.

The ideal candidate is a proactive talent hunter with a strong track record of sourcing and engaging highly sought-after passive candidates in competitive talent markets. Working closely with hiring managers and leadership teams, this role will develop targeted recruiting strategies, build robust talent pipelines, and provide market intelligence that drives informed hiring decisions.

Unlike traditional recruiting roles, this position requires regular travel to PPS locations to gain firsthand knowledge of the business, technologies, products, and workforce needs. Success in this role requires curiosity, business acumen, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders while delivering exceptional talent outcomes.

Location: Onsite at a PPS facility (Horsham, PA; Commack, NY; Longmont, CO; Pinellas Park, FL; or Largo, FL)

Travel: Up to 30% travel between PPS locations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for highly specialized engineering, technical, manufacturing, operations, and leadership positions across PPS.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines focused on aerospace, defense, power systems, advanced manufacturing, and emerging technology sectors.
  • Actively source and engage passive candidates through direct recruiting, networking, referrals, industry associations, military networks, conferences, and targeted market research.
  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand current and future workforce needs and develop talent acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Travel throughout PPS locations to develop a thorough understanding of operational environments, technical requirements, and organizational priorities.
  • Establish credibility with engineering and technical leaders by developing a deep understanding of PPS products, technologies, and customer applications.
  • Provide market intelligence regarding talent availability, compensation trends, competitor activity, and workforce planning opportunities.
  • Support recruitment efforts in compliance with applicable government contractor requirements, employment regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies that reduce reliance on external search firms while improving candidate quality and time-to-fill.
  • Represent PPS and EnerSys at industry events, military transition programs, technical conferences, job fairs, and targeted networking opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive technical recruiting experience.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting engineering and technical talent in complex industries.
  • Strong direct sourcing and headhunting capabilities.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and technical hiring teams.
  • Ability to travel regularly across PPS locations.
  • Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting within Aerospace & Defense, Government Contracting, Energy Storage, Advanced Manufacturing, Electronics, Power Systems, or other highly regulated technical industries.
  • Experience supporting security-cleared or clearance-eligible talent.
  • Familiarity with ITAR, government contracting, and defense industry recruiting practices.
  • Military recruiting experience and established veteran talent networks.
  • Strong proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, talent intelligence tools, and advanced sourcing methodologies.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A strategic talent hunter rather than a requisition processor.
  • Experienced recruiting highly specialized engineers and technical professionals.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior engineers, technical experts, program managers, and executive leaders.
  • Skilled at uncovering and attracting passive candidates who are not actively seeking new opportunities.
  • Naturally curious and motivated to understand complex technologies and business challenges.
  • Comfortable operating independently while influencing stakeholders across multiple locations.
  • Passionate about building long-term talent pipelines that support organizational growth.

General Job Requirements

  • This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
