Computer Technician

Responsibilities:

• Perform component-level diagnostics and repair on laptop, desktop, and server motherboards
• Carry out micro-soldering tasks, including SMD replacement, BGA reballing/replacement, and trace/pad repair
• Read and interpret board view files and schematic diagrams to isolate faults
• Diagnose and repair liquid-damaged boards
• Replace faulty connectors and perform BIOS/UEFI chip reprogramming
• Document all repairs, parts used, and diagnostic steps
• Conduct stress and thermal testing to confirm board stability
• SMD – Surface Mount Device
• BGA – Ball Grid Array

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (Minimum)
• Associate's Degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or IT (Preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in Component-level motherboard repair
