Help shape the future of semiconductor manufacturing.

As an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist at Entegris, you will play a critical role in advancing world-class safety, sustainability, and operational excellence within a cutting-edge manufacturing environment. You will partner with employees, engineers, and leaders to create safer workplaces, simplify compliance, drive environmental stewardship, and deliver innovative solutions that support the technologies powering tomorrow.

This highly visible role combines technical expertise, strategic influence, and hands-on leadership to build a culture where people thrive, risks are proactively managed, and sustainability is embedded in everything we do. If you are passionate about making a meaningful impact while helping drive the future of manufacturing, we want to hear from you.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and continuously improve site EHS programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, Entegris standards, and industry best practices.
  • Champion a culture of safety excellence through employee engagement, training, coaching, and visible leadership.
  • Drive environmental compliance, hazardous waste management, and sustainability initiatives that support responsible growth.
  • Lead the site's Ergonomics Team & Program, identifying risks, implementing innovative solutions, and improving employee well-being.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner with engineering, automation, and operations teams to ensure EHS requirements are integrated into new equipment, facility upgrades, and manufacturing projects.
  • Secure environmental permits and approvals necessary to support business operations and expansion.
  • Develop and communicate meaningful EHS performance metrics, insights, and recommendations for site leadership.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to site leadership with authority to stop work when imminent hazards are identified.
  • Actively participate in Emergency Response, Safety Committees, and other cross-functional teams that drive operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related technical discipline.
  • 2+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, semiconductor, or other highly regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, hazardous materials management, and environmental regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and build partnerships across all levels of an organization.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, employee engagement, and sustainable operations.
  • Experience delivering training, leading teams, and driving change initiatives is preferred.
  • Ability to occasionally support off-shift operations and initiatives.

Your Success Will Be Measured By:

  • Creating a safer, healthier, and more sustainable workplace through proactive risk reduction and employee engagement.
  • Driving world-class EHS performance, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship.
  • Building trusted relationships across all levels of the organization and positively influencing business outcomes.
  • Delivering meaningful improvements through data-driven decision making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrating leadership, accountability, and ownership while embodying Entegris PACE values.
  • Successfully integrating safety and sustainability into operational and business decisions.
  • Achieving goals that support both site performance and long-term organizational success.

At Entegris, you'll do more than manage compliance-you'll help create a safer, smarter, and more sustainable future. This role offers the opportunity to influence meaningful change, partner with innovative teams, and develop creative solutions that protect people while enabling the next generation of semiconductor manufacturing.

You'll be empowered to think differently, challenge the status quo, and make a visible impact in a collaborative environment that values continuous improvement, teamwork, and fresh ideas. If you're passionate about safety, sustainability, and making a difference, you'll find a rewarding career and a supportive team waiting for you.
