Business Development Manager - Spain

Summary: We’re looking for an experienced B2B commercial leader with 10+ years of experience-ideally within FMCG retail-who is analytical, entrepreneurial and comfortable working with both customers and technical teams. You’ll combine market insight, commercial expertise and relationship-building to create tailored solutions and deliver measurable growth.

Tasks:

• Build out sustainable business in Spain

• Develop and execute customer-specific sales strategies together with BD Director

• Develop account plans and lead tender bids.

• Build up and maintain network with FMCG Retailers

• Conduct deep market research to understand competitive landscapes and key business drivers

• Act as the interface between the customers and the Envipco European organization, including our production facilities (USA, Germany, Romania, Greece) and our headquarters in The Netherlands.

• Demonstrate your results based on clear KPI’s and sales targets, short and long term. The work will be both strategic and operational.

• This role will be based in Madrid and reports into the EU Business Development Director Spain, who is based in Madrid.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Commercial or Technical education

• At least 10 years of experience in (international) B2B commercial roles, preferably FMCG retail environment

• Comfortable with detailed discussion around machinery, logistics and materials management.

• Able to develop tailor made value propositions.

• Excellent analytical and strategical skills.

• Fluent in Spanish and English

• Able to travel in the country and in Europe.

• Strong Team player, able to work in multi-disciplinary teams

• Able to build long term business relations.
