HR Controlling & Compensation Specialist

At EP Commodities, we believe that sound people decisions start with reliable data. We are looking for an analytical, detail-oriented colleague who enjoys working with numbers, HR processes and compensation and wants to develop their expertise in HR controlling and reward.

In this role, you will help turn HR data into meaningful insights, support compensation processes and contribute to workforce planning across the business. You will work closely with colleagues in HR and Finance and gain exposure to a broad range of HR topics.

Role and responsibilities

· Prepare regular HR reports and workforce metrics, including headcount, recruitment and employee turnover data

· Support the planning, monitoring and analysis of payroll and personnel costs

· Assist with workforce and recruitment planning

· Support job grading, job evaluation and compensation review processes

· Prepare analyses and supporting data for salary reviews, bonus schemes and other reward programmes

· Provide analytical support for HR projects

· Collaborate with colleagues across HR, Finance and the wider business

Qualifications and experience

· Experience in HR controlling, compensation and benefits, HR analytics or a similar HR role

· Strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in working with data

· Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query and data analysis; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage

· Good knowledge of Czech labour law and standard HR processes

· Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to work

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

· Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset

· Good command of English

· University degree in economics or a related field, or secondary education combined with relevant professional experience
