About the team
You’ll join the Member Quality Assurance team within Operations Services Delivery. The team is responsible for coordinating, scoping and validating testing activities for EPI member institutions, helping banks, acquirers and PSPs successfully integrate with Wero.
You’ll work closely with external member banks, acquirers, PSPs and test tooling partners, as well as internal Product, Payment Experience, Infrastructure and Operations teams. This is a collaborative role for someone who enjoys combining structured testing, technical investigation and clear partner communication.
Your impact
Scope testing requirements and guide member banks, acquirers and PSPs through end-to-end certification with clear instructions and hands-on technical support.
Review and validate member test outcomes against EPI specifications, scheme standards and compliance rules to ensure seamless integration.
Investigate technical issues during testing, analyse distributed system logs and inspect API payloads to identify and resolve blockers quickly.
Execute internal tests to identify edge cases, inconsistencies and system gaps before member releases.
Convert manual test scenarios into automated test cases and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing frameworks and tooling.
Maintain comprehensive records of test results, defects, decisions and resolutions in Jira and Confluence for full traceability and auditability.
Collaborate with Product, Payment Experience, Infrastructure and Operations stakeholders to ensure testing feedback is understood and translated into product and process improvements.

Tracking & collaboration: Jira, Confluence
Ways of working: Agile methodology, daily stand-ups, cross-functional collaboration and close interaction with external partners
To succeed, you should meet at least 70% of these requirements
+3 years of professional experience in QA, testing, technical operations or a similar role, ideally within payments, banking or fintech.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
Fluent in English (CEFR C1 or C2); French, German, Dutch or other European languages are a plus.
Thrive in a remote-first, multicultural and fast-paced environment.
Strong experience in end-to-end and integration testing across multi-tier or distributed architectures.
Hands-on proficiency with REST APIs, JSON data contracts and API testing or scripting tools such as Postman or Bruno.
Solid experience reading system logs, debugging integration errors and troubleshooting issues across distributed services.
Demonstrated experience working directly with external partners, member institutions, clients or technical stakeholders such as Project Leads and Test Managers.
Proficiency with test management workflows, issue tracking and documentation using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear guidance for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to haves
Familiarity with European payment schemes and rails such as SEPA, Instant Payments, SWIFT or card schemes.
Experience with payment gateways, processors, core banking platforms or mobile banking integrations.
Understanding of regulatory and scheme certification standards such as PSD2 or scheme compliance.
Knowledge of reconciliation, clearing and settlement workflows.
