Join Equinix, a global leader in digital infrastructure, as an SDN Engineer. In this role, you will work on AI Inference open-source software, cultivate Equinix's open-source presence, and assist in the analysis and evaluation of new technologies. You will also advocate for best design and development practices, prioritize tasks, and have strong hands-on technical skills. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in network and security principles within a cloud infrastructure deployment, programming experience in languages such as Go, Python, C/C++, Rust, and a deep understanding of OSI Layer and its application.
Missions
- Participer à une équipe de développement distribuée à l'échelle mondiale sur des logiciels open-source liés à l'inférence AI.
- Cultiver la présence et la réputation d'Equinix dans les organisations open-source et interagir avec les parties prenantes pour comprendre et documenter les fonctionnalités du produit.
- Fournir un niveau d'effort pour le backlog produit, travailler avec les chefs de projet techniques et les équipes de gestion de produit pour définir un calendrier.
Profil recherché
- Strong hands-on technical skills. Can drill deep into the complex network system design and implementation when needed. Familiarity with APIs and designing solutions to leverage interfaces to build network automation or capabilities such as dashboarding or monitoring- 5+ years of experience or related experience applying network and security principles within a cloud infrastructure deployment. Demonstrated experience in secure transport methods (SSH, TLS, IPSEC, Wireguard), IAM, VPCs and connectivity such as IaaS peering and VPN solutions
- Strong track record of delivering resilient network systems and services with a focus on delivering amazing experiences for end users
- Comfortable programming in languages such as Go, Python, C/C++, Rust
- A deep understanding of OSI Layer and its application
- 5+ years of experience or related experience in designing and building highly redundant network infrastructure with an emphasis on IPv4 and IPv6, IP Routing, RIB/FIB, BGP and PBR, IP and BGP routing to CSPs, Zero Trust, SDN and Cloud Networking
- DevOps mindset to improve CICD using GitHub Actions and review DORA metrics to improve processes
