WhatYou’llBe Doing

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organize andmaintainfencing and equipment in the yardand warehouse to ensure efficient flow and accessibility.

• Conduct regular cycle counts andassistwith inventory reconciliation.

• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the facility to support smooth equipment movement and operations.

• Safely loadandsecure temporary fencing for transport(and unloadat jobsites andwhen returned to thebranchyard).

• Assistwith loading and unloadingother constructionequipment as needed.

• Deliver, install, remove, and pick up construction fence at customer locations in a safe andtimelymanner (often involves manually carrying fence panels a distance from the truck to the installation spot)

• Clean fencing when it returns from customer jobsites.

• Inspect equipment for damage upon returnand notify supervisor or branch manager of damaged or broken fence materials.

• Identifyand report potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions.

• Safelyoperateequipment following all company policies and procedures.

• Coordinate with teammates at the branch to resolve inventory or order issues.

• Assistwith the delivery ofsmall tools and equipment to job sitesfor our general construction equipment branchwhenrequired.

WhatYou’llBring to the Team

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 2+ years of related work experience in a Fence / Scaffolding Labourer, General Labourer, Yard Coordinator, or similar role is preferred.

• Valid Class G/5 driver’s licenserequired, with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points).You’llbe required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request.

• Physical stamina and ability to stand forlong periods. Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.

• Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools is an asset.

• Forklift license or experience operating forklifts and/or other construction equipment is preferred.

• Knowledge of construction tools, equipment and materials would be an asset.

• Familiarity with inventory systems, shipping/receiving, and warehouse best practices is an asset.

• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

• Highly adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Self-starter, very customer-service oriented and works well in a team environment.

• Curiosity to learn new things & understand more about construction equipment and the rental industry.

• Comfortable with computers/technology (for filling out inspections, inventory management, etc.)
