Role Overview:

We are looking for a creative, strategic and goal-oriented Marketing & Communication professional to own our corporate communications, brand story, content and public image. You will shape how Ergode shows up internally and externally, write and guide compelling content, manage PR, bring fresh ideas, use AI and modern formats to grow our output, and, as the team grows, build and lead a capable team.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Communications

• Own and drive the corporate communication strategy for internal and external audiences
• Manage leadership messaging, company announcements, policy communication and employee updates
• Plan and run internal communication channels such as newsletters, town halls and intranet updates
• Ensure one consistent company narrative across leadership, teams, brands and stakeholders
• Prepare communication for sensitive situations and manage crisis communication
• Partner with HR, leadership and business heads on key company messages and milestones

Strategy and Ideation

• Build and own the marketing and communication strategy, aligned with business goals
• Bring new campaign ideas, content formats and trends to the team on a regular basis
• Plan the annual and quarterly communication calendar across brands and channels
• Track competitors and industry trends, and turn insights into action

Content Writing and Storytelling

• Write and review high-quality content across emailers and newsletters, social media, blogs and website copy
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across every channel
• Edit and improve content created by team members, ensuring accuracy and polish

Public Relations

• Plan and run PR activities, including press releases, media notes, media outreach and thought leadership
• Build and maintain relationships with media, journalists and industry platforms
• Secure coverage for company milestones, awards and achievements

Creative Content

• Lead the creation of short-form video, reels and storytelling content for social platforms
• Guide the production of graphics, banners, presentations and animations
• Own brand guidelines and ensure consistency across the entire company

AI and Productivity

• Use AI tools for content ideation, copywriting, design, video editing and reporting
• Build AI-supported workflows that increase content output without lowering quality
• Evaluate and introduce new tools that save time and improve results

Digital and Reputation Management

• Plan and run email marketing campaigns, and optimise based on performance
• Monitor online reputation, reviews and brand mentions, and manage responses
• Track analytics and report on reach, engagement and brand sentiment

Team Leadership and Execution

• Assign work, set clear priorities and deadlines, and make sure deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard
• As the team grows, hire, onboard and train new team members on brand guidelines, tools, AI workflows and ways of working
• Mentor junior members, review their work and give regular, constructive feedback
• Build processes and documentation so the team can scale and work independently
• Share regular performance reports with insights and next steps with RMs and leadership

Culture and Collaboration

• Contribute to a positive, collaborative and high-energy company culture
• Support internal engagement through company events, recognition and celebrations
• Work closely with marketing, content, design and business teams to achieve shared goals

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in corporate communication, marketing, brand or content
• Strong experience in corporate and internal communications
• Excellent writing and editing skills across emails, social media, blogs and PR
• Hands-on experience with PR, media relations or press release writing
• Proven experience building strategy and running campaigns end to end
• Hands-on with short-form video and reels, plus tools such as Canva, Adobe or CapCut
• Working knowledge of AI tools for content and marketing
• Understanding of social media analytics, email marketing and online reputation management
• Experience guiding or mentoring others, or strong potential to do so
• MBA or graduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field
