- Local project support - serve as the on-site point of contact for Project Manager implementation activities, ensuring alignment between the lab and global project teams.
- Business requirements analysis - gather, translate, and document laboratory workflows, user needs, and process gaps; convert them into clear functional requirements for IT and vendors.
- System configuration support - assist with LIMS setup, configuration, validation, and testing activities.
- User communication & translation - translate technical concepts into simple, actionable guidance for non-English-speaking lab staff; translate user questions and issues back to IT.
- Training & onboarding - support user training sessions, create localized training materials, and ensure adoption of new processes.
- Issue triage & support - identify, document, and escalate system issues; collaborate with developers and support teams on bug fixes and enhancements.
- Testing & validation - coordinate and execute UAT, verify system behavior, and ensure compliance with Eurofins quality standards.
- IT liaison - maintain continuous communication with internal partners and internal IT teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar position - preferred experience with ERP- like software,
- Strong understanding of laboratory workflows or scientific environments is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain system related topics to non-technical users.
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, and any prior programming experience would be beneficial,
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ownership of tasks.
The LIMS Implementation Support Engineer will play a key role in deploying a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) in our laboratory in İzmir. This is a 6-month temporary position and offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in a strategic digital transformation project.
This position combines business analysis, on-site coordination, and hands-on system support. The primary responsibility is to act as the bridge between the local laboratory team and central IT teams, other external Eurofins teams, ensuring a smooth and successful implementation.
