EUROSPAR Applewood, Applewood Main St, Applewood, Dublin 15 is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Store Supervisor to support the day-to-day running of our EUROSPAR store. The successful candidate will lead and motivate the retail team, ensure excellent customer service standards, and assist the Store Manager in delivering strong operational and commercial performance.

• Lead and support the retail sales team, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently.

• Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer queries or complaints professionally.

• Assist with staff training, performance management, and recruitment.

• Support store operations, including merchandising, promotions, maintaining a store standards, and cash handling procedures.

• Monitor stock levels, stock rotation, waste control, and stocktakes.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, Health & Safety, HACCP, labour law, and security procedures.

• Communicate store performance and operational updates to the team.

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and deputise in their absence.

Requirements

• Previous retail supervisory experience, preferably in a food retail environment.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

• Good knowledge of retail operations, stock control, and food safety standards.

• Understanding of Health & Safety, HACCP, and employment legislation.

• Commercially aware with a proactive and positive approach.

• Strong organisational and IT skills.

• Self-motivated, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards.
