We are looking for a professional to join our Investment Banking team in Madrid as an Intern and use their skills and ideas to make an impact to the success of Evercore.
Start Date - January 2027 (6 months with possibility of extension)

About the Role
Our Investment Banking team based in Madrid covers the Iberian region with a generalist focus both in term of industries and products, in close coordination with sector and product teams across the globe.
The Evercore Off-Cycle Analyst Program is a 6-month programme designed to provide a highly motivated person with a representative experience of an analyst. The Madrid team is seeking intelligent, mature individuals with the desire and flexibility to work in an entrepreneurial environment and the ability to learn on the job.
Primary Responsibilities
- Off-Cycle Interns are highly motivated individuals and are expected to handle multiple projects simultaneously and exhibit a strong motivation to learn and work diligently
- Off-Cycle Interns will work on a variety of assignments including private and public M&A, capital raising and capital structure mandates as well as client pitching
- Off-cycle Interns at Evercore gain exposure to the firm’s businesses and expanded knowledge of the investment banking industry, as they develop key analytical, communications and marketing skills
- Analysis of company accounts, profit & loss and cash flow information
- Interpretation of complex financial information
- Preparation of detailed financial presentations
- Company research and maintenance of current and accurate financial data
- Independently manage certain aspects of transaction processes and marketing material preparation
- Liaising with Evercore’s industry and product teams
Skills & Experience:
- Strong quantitative and technical abilities
- Strong communication, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Outstanding academic record
- Drive, enthusiasm, creativity and excellent interpersonal skills with passion for continued learning
- Fluent Spanish and English speaker
- Need to have graduated from a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree
- Strong interest in the Iberian market
- Prior investment banking experience will be valued but is not a pre-requisite
