We’re hiring for a hybrid role. You’ll work on-site with your team several days each week (typically 2-3), with the specific days set by your manager. Because regular in-person collaboration is central to this job, we look for candidates who live within about 50 miles of the office.

About the role:
Everfox is a global leader in high-assurance cybersecurity, defending the world’s most critical data and networks for governments and enterprises across more than 20 countries for over 25 years. We are looking for a Contracts Manager who will serve as a trusted business partner, negotiating and managing the full lifecycle of government and commercial contracts that power our mission. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for an experienced contracts professional who thrives at the intersection of national security and commercial innovation and wants to help scale a $500M cybersecurity company toward $1B in revenue.
Location:
This role supports customers primarily in the Washington, DC metro area.
Limited travel to customer sites in the DC metro area and potentially other Everfox locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the negotiation, structuring and administration of contracts across Everfox’s government and commercial solutions, including agreements with U.S. federal agencies, allied foreign governments, defense primes, channel partners, technology integrators and commercial enterprises.
Partner closely with Sales, Business Development, Legal, Professional Services and Operations to structure deals that advance business objectives while managing risk in classified and export-controlled environments.
Analyze contracts to ensure compliance with company policy, FAR/DFARS requirements, ITAR/EAR export control regulations and customer-specific terms.
Lead negotiations across a broad portfolio of contract types: FFP, T&M, IDIQ task orders, OTAs, commercial technology agreements, software licenses and EULAs, working directly with Contracting Officers, prime contractor counterparts and commercial procurement teams.
Monitor and ensure compliance with contractual provisions, FAR/DFARS clauses, ITAR/EAR export controls and agency-specific requirements (DoD, IC, DHS, civilian agencies).
Assist in proposal development and negotiation, including pricing strategy; own post-award contract administration including modifications, options, funding actions and contract closeout.
Develop and execute negotiation strategies that protect intellectual property, mitigate risk and advance the company’s position in classified and commercial cybersecurity markets.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives that scale contracting operations to support growth, including template development, playbook creation and workflow automation.
Key Knowledge and Skills:
Deep working knowledge of FAR and DFARS, including DFARS cybersecurity clauses (e.g., DFARS 252.204-7012) and other U.S. government acquisition regulations.
Proven track record of direct engagement with government Contracting Officers, prime contractor counterparts and exposure to commercial procurement teams.
Self-directed professional who takes ownership of outcomes and operates effectively with minimal oversight in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Strong analytical background with experience using contract lifecycle management tools and data to drive process improvements.
Working knowledge of ITAR, EAR and other trade compliance regulations, with experience applying export controls to software and technology transactions.
Demonstrated ability to assess contract risk, model implications and brief leadership on risk/reward trade-offs.
Key Education Requirements:
Typically requires a minimum of 6+ years of progressive government contract management experience, with significant hands-on negotiation of terms and conditions across multiple contract types.
Active TS/SCI clearance strongly preferred; candidates with an active TS and willingness to upgrade will be considered.
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:
$121,000.00-150,900.00 USDThe actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
