DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) - Banking

For one of our clients in the banking and financial-services sector, we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to help build, automate and maintain secure and scalable technology environments.

You will work closely with development, infrastructure, security and architecture teams to improve software delivery, automation and platform reliability within a highly regulated environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain reliable DevOps and cloud environments.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code.
• Support development teams with reliable deployment and development environments.
• Monitor performance, availability and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Contribute to cloud migration and platform-modernisation initiatives.
• Work closely with developers, architects and security specialists.
• Continuously improve DevOps practices, automation and engineering standards.

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or Platform Engineering.
• Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, Ansible or similar IaC technologies.
• Good knowledge of Linux and networking.
• Experience with Git and modern software-development practices.
• Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English is required. Dutch is considered a plus.
• Experience in banking, financial services, fintech or another regulated environment is highly desirable.
• Cloud and DevOps certifications, including Azure, AWS, Kubernetes or Terraform certifications, are preferred.
