Responsibilities:

  • Lead, design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js .
  • Collaborate with backend and front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Lead/Design and implement APIs for web applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire application stack.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and refine software requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to suggest improvements and drive innovation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Node.js . Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js frameworks.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL and/or SQL databases.
  • Version control using Git and collaborative development using Git workflows. Understanding of containerization (e. g., Docker) and orchestration (e. g., Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices, including testing, code reviews, and documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
  • Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
