The opportunity

Help make every new client’s first experience of Evri a positive one. As Implementation Manager, you will lead the onboarding of key clients, manage each implementation as a focused project and bridge the gap between Sales and Client Development. With a key focus on onboarding clients using our New Tracked Mail Product. Your goal is a smooth transition from a competitor to an established Evri service.   You will also provide short-term “nursery care” support where an existing client’s service is under strain, investigating the cause, reporting your findings and helping stakeholders put practical solutions in place.

You will be part of a small Implementation team and report to the Implementation Team Manager. The role has no direct people or budget responsibility, but it has broad influence across Sales, Client Development, Operations, Transport, Planning, Customer Services, Client Solutions, MI and hub management teams. This is a visible, hands-on role at the point where a commercial win becomes a live customer relationship. You will shape the onboarding experience, bring teams together around a practical plan and help new and existing clients receive a clear, consistent and well-managed service.

What you’ll be accountable for:

Lead customer implementation and onboarding projects for key clients signing up to use our Tracked mail product, you will also support businesses with annual parcel volumes of 500,000 or more as required.

Act as the main customer contact throughout implementation, providing clear updates on progress, milestones, risks and actions.

Work with the Implementation Team Manager and Senior Implementation Manager to develop onboarding processes, documentation and ways of working.

Own the handover from Sales into Client Development and Account Management, ensuring responsibilities and milestones are clear.

Lead customer calls and meetings, understand expectations and maintain strong relationships with director-level contacts.

Support first collection dates on site, working with the new-business salesperson to confirm barcodes scan and the launch is operationally ready.

Run short-term nursery care projects for existing clients, using data and investigation to identify service issues and recommend solutions.

The implementation areas you’ll coordinate:

Transport and collection planning, including forecasts, access slots, vehicle sizing and site loading requirements.

Freight/Mail presentation, ensuring traffic is separated and presented appropriately to support service quality.

For Parcel clients oversee IT integrations and label access through Evri or third-party platforms such as Metapack, Sorted, nShift and Mintsoft.

Customer service onboarding, including introductions, enquiry processes, WISMO and claims arrangements where applicable. (this will in the main be for Parcel clients)

Consumer experience notifications, including email and SMS configuration with the ICAM team (For Parcel clients)

Billing set-up, management information, client packs and controlled reporting standards.

Planning for unusual or unique freight, working with clients and Operations to put the right process controls in place. (For Parcel clients)

What you’ll bring:

At least two years’ experience leading onboarding projects in mail/logistics, distribution or FMCG.

A proven track record of managing client relationships while delivering time-bound projects.

Excellent internal and external stakeholder management, with confidence working at director level.

Experience of client complaint management, troubleshooting, issue management and clear reporting.

The ability to interpret data, draw conclusions and turn findings into practical solutions.

Strong communication, organisation and collaboration skills across multiple departments and levels.

A full UK driving licence and availability for extensive national travel.

Useful, but not essential:

A project management qualification and/or degree-level education.

Advanced capability in Microsoft Visio, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of integration platforms and how APIs work.

If you enjoy bringing structure to complex customer launches, building trusted relationships and coordinating teams to deliver a positive client experience, we’d like to hear from you.
