The Logistics Manager will oversee the coordination and improvement of the company's transportation and logistics operations, ensuring that vehicles, passengers, materials, and operational resources move efficiently. The position calls for strong abilities in planning, coordination, problem-solving, and fleet management.
Key ResponsibilitiesLogistics & Fleet Operations
- Plan and coordinate logistics and transportation activities on a daily basis.
- Track vehicle deployment, movement, availability, and utilization.
- Coordinate drivers and ensure they follow approved routes and schedules.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance needs and escalate any issues without delay.
Operational Planning
- Prepare efficient logistics plans and timetables.
- Coordinate the resources needed to keep transportation operations running smoothly.
- Identify and resolve delays, routing difficulties, and operational disruptions.
- Ensure vehicles and other operational resources are used efficiently.
Driver & Team Management
- Supervise and coordinate drivers and logistics staff.
- Monitor driver performance, attendance, compliance, and conduct.
- Ensure drivers comply with safety and operational procedures.
