DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |About the role
As the Technical Consultant, you will:
- Handle pre-sales activities, including customer meetings, presentations and solution demonstrations.
- Understand customer requirements and design appropriate FireMon and Gurucul solutions.
- Conduct POCs and support technical evaluations.
- Prepare technical proposals, BOM, HLD/LLD, RFP/RFI responses and SOW
- Support solution implementation, integration, configuration and troubleshooting. Work with FireMon for firewall policy management, rule analysis, compliance and security automation
- Coordinate with OEM, sales, partners and customers for technical discussions and escalations
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE |About you
The ideal Technical consultant:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Qualification 2
- 3-6 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or security solutions.
- Strong knowledge of firewall, network security, SIEM, UEBA and security analytics.
- Hands-on experience with FireMon solutions such as Firewall Policy Management, Firewall Analyzer and Security Policy Management. Working experience 2
- Knowledge of Gurucul solutions, including SIEM, UEBA, risk analytics and security monitoring.
- Experience in pre-sales, POC, solution design and technical presentations is preferred.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, VPN, security policies and network architecture. Personal attributes 1
