Description
We are seeking a dependable and versatile individual to serve as both a Driver for Events and a Facilities Support. This hybrid role involves transporting event equipment and staff to various locations, and during non-driving hours, performing maintenance and facility support tasks. The ideal candidate is proactive, flexible, and has both technical skills and a strong service orientation.
Key Responsibilities:
As Event Driver:
- Safely transport event equipment, supplies, and personnel to and from event venues.
- Load and unload vehicles efficiently, ensuring all items are secured properly.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct regular safety checks.
- Coordinate with the events team to ensure timely deliveries aligned with setup and breakdown schedules.
- Provide on-site support during events as needed (e.g., helping with setup/teardown).
As Facilities Support (During Downtime):
- Perform general building maintenance tasks including minor electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry work
- Respond to facility service requests and troubleshoot building issues.
- Support general repairs and upkeep of the facility, including lighting, minor carpentry, and painting.
- Help maintain a clean and organized parking lot and warehouse which includes storage, staging, and the pickleball area.
- Ensure building systems operate efficiently and safely, complying with all safety standards and regulations.

Requirements
- Valid TX Driver’s License with a clean driving record and held for at least 5 years.
- 2+ years of experience in a facilities or maintenance role.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed based on event schedules.
- Ability to drive the company truck and pull a trailer.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with event logistics and equipment.
- Forklift or equipment handling certification is a plus.
