For our office in Aruba, we are looking for a Tax Manager.
The Opportunity
As a Tax Manager at EY Aruba, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of local and international clients. You will lead engagements, manage client relationships, coach and develop team members, and contribute to business development initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to help clients navigate an increasingly complex tax landscape while making a meaningful impact on our people, clients, and communities.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of tax compliance and advisory engagements, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality client service.
- Provide tax planning, tax compliance, and tax advisory services to local and multinational clients.
- Review tax returns, tax provisions, and other tax-related deliverables prepared by junior team members.
- Advise clients on tax risks, opportunities, and regulatory developments affecting their business operations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand EY's services.
- Lead, coach, and mentor Tax Staff, Seniors, and Supervisors, supporting their professional growth and development.
- Manage engagement budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure compliance with EY quality and risk management standards.
- Stay informed of changes in tax legislation, regulations, and industry trends and translate these developments into practical client solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across EY to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, proposals, and networking activities to support the growth of the Tax practice in Aruba.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tax Law, Fiscal Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in tax compliance and/or tax advisory services.
- Demonstrated experience managing client engagements and leading teams.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international tax principles.
- Professional tax qualification or progress toward a recognized tax certification is considered an asset.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Dutch and/or Papiamento is considered an asset.
- A passion for continuous learning and developing in a technology-enabled tax environment.
