Testing WAM Functional Manager

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Functional Test Manager with strong expertise in Multifonds Global Investing (MFGI) application and its functional modules. The candidate must have hands-on experience with MFGI application and a deep understanding of transfer agency operations business lifecycle and its related process and functionalities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading the testing function, defining test strategies, managing test teams, ensuring software quality, and driving successful delivery of business-critical applications.
• Perform functional testing for Multifonds Global Investing (MFGI) application modules.
• Validate end-to-end investor transactions including subscriptions, redemptions, switches, and transfers.
• Perform functional testing of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC workflows to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Test and validate static data management including investor, account, fund, distributor, and banking information.
• Execute testing for fund setup, fund promoter, and TFC (Trust Fund Company) related configurations and business rules.
• Validate NAV (Net Asset Value) calculations, publication processes, and associated controls.
• Perform testing of dividend registration and distribution processes ensuring accurate investor allocations.
• Verify performance fee calculations and fee processing as per fund rules and regulatory guidelines.
• Test payment processing and cash receipt functionalities, including reconciliation and settlement activities.
• Validate tax calculations, tax reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements across different jurisdictions.
• Perform testing of retrocession fee calculations, commission processing, and distributor payment workflows.
• Validate settlement and payment and SWIFT messaging.
• Verify lifecycle events for transfer agency business process.
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to ensure functional accuracy and compliance.
• Document test results, raise defects, and track resolution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor staff resources.
• Accountable for delivering the work and meeting required targets without any deviations.
• Participate in and lead all the status calls, Scrum calls, and client meetings. Review and send out the DSR and WSR to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain robust testing strategies and processes and ensure they are properly implemented and followed.
• Prepare test planning, estimation, test strategy, requirement gathering and analysis, prepare test scenarios and test scripts based on the requirements, execute the planned test cases, and report the defects in tracking tool and ensure its closure through STLC process.
• Hands-on experience on test management tools like JIRA.
• Should have excellent communication skills and should be able to articulate concisely and clearly.
• The ability to define, monitor, and report on SLAs to ensure that services meet agreed-upon performance and availability standards.
• Manage resources effectively ensuring on-time delivery of products.
• Maintain a detailed record of test results and relay these results to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks related to software quality at each phase of the software testing process.
• Review application designs, requirements, and specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Meets performance objectives and metrics set locally (client service, quality and risk management, sales and business growth, solution development, and teaming, etc.).
• Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
• Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles, and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

What we look for:

• BE / BTech / MCA / M.Sc.
• 10 to 15 years of testing experience in Multifonds Global Investing (MFGI) application.
• Define and implement the overall testing strategy and quality assurance framework.
• Develop test plans, test schedules, resource plans, and estimation models.
• Manage end-to-end testing activities including SIT, system testing, UAT support, regression testing, integration testing, and production validation.
• Oversee test design, test case reviews, execution, and defect management.
• Ensure test coverage, quality metrics, and traceability requirements are met.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product owners, project managers, and business stakeholders.
• Identify testing risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Knowledge of transfer agency business processes and requirements.
• Knowledge of WAM and capital markets domain.
• Experience in functional testing methodologies and tools.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Flexible working in UK shift timings.
