About the Team:
This role sits on the Business Operations team, which builds the operational foundation that helps fab2 scale. We believe the way we work should be as thoughtful as the products we build, from the systems behind the scenes to the spaces where our teams do their best work. As we grow, the Office Manager will play an important role in creating a workplace that is organized, effective, and able to evolve with the company.
About the Role:
We’re looking for an Office Manager to own the day-to-day operations of our office and create a space where the team can do their best work. You’ll keep things running smoothly, anticipate what the team needs, and take ownership of everything from office resources and events to maintenance, supplies, and the systems that keep things organized behind the scenes.
You’ll help shape how people experience fab2 and how effectively they can do their work. You’ll think beyond the immediate task at hand by spotting ways to improve the workplace, making collaboration easier, and supporting the team as we grow. You’ll also be one of the first faces people meet at fab2, setting a welcoming and professional tone for employees, candidates, and visitors. Responsibilities:
Own day-to-day office operations across two or more sites, including coordinating furniture, snacks, guests, and new hire setup with a high degree of autonomy
Partner cross-functionally with IT and People Ops on onboarding to ensure devices, desks, and first-day logistics are ready to go
Keep the office stocked with grocery orders, Monday breakfasts, weekly lunch and dinner coordination, and supply restocking
Partner with Facilities to set up and maintain the office environment, managing furniture, desks, AV equipment, and security systems
Manage mailing and logistics needs, including Amazon returns and courier scheduling
Plan and execute company events end-to-end, owning logistics, vendors, and follow-through
Be the face of the office - greet guests and new hires, assist with last-minute tours, and resolve office needs as they come up
Required experience
Event support experience (office parties, team off-sites, small gatherings).
Vendor management or negotiation experience.
Strong written communication skills for clear, professional correspondence.
Experience as an office coordinator, office manager, or similar role
Hands-on experience setting up and managing office infrastructure - AV, hardware, security systems, and contractor coordination
Comfortable managing facilities vendors
Nice-to-have
Experience working at a hardware startup or fast-scaling company.
Familiarity with tools like Slack, Microsoft, and Outline.
Eye for workspace design and making environments feel welcoming.

We’re an early-stage hardware startup with solid funding, world-class advisors, and labs/offices in Austin, TX, Lockhart, TX, and San Francisco, CA.
Compensation: fab2 is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The annual salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000. Compensation is determined based on your qualifications and experience. Our total compensation package also includes generous equity in fab2.
